lemon juice
or juice from 2 lemons

water

paprika

olive oil

pine nuts (lightly browned)

Instructions
Drain and rinse chick peas and place in food processor or blender
Add mashed garlic, tahina, lemon juice, salt and water. Mix well until texture is smooth.
Serve on a platter and garnish with paprika, oil, parsley and/or pine nuts.
Notes
Variations:
Two Tbsp. yogurt can be added for a creamy texture
Add Basic Meat Filling on top
Sprinkle 1 Tbsp. of slightly browned (and cooled) sesame seeds on top.
