Course: Main Course
Cuisine: Italian
Yield: 4 servings

Materials

  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 lb Italian sausage hot or mild
  • ⅓ lb bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Let bread crumbs soak in milk for a few minutes until milk is absorbed.
  • Cut bacon into small, half inch pieces.
  • Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with hands until well combined.
  • With hands, form meat into balls 1.5-2 inches in diameter. This should produce anywhere from 15-25 balls depending on how big you want them.
  • Using a dutch oven or pan, sear the meatballs on top and bottom before placing on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Place sheet into preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for five minutes.
  • Place meatballs in tomato sauce or gravy or enjoy on their own.
