- 1 lb Italian sausage hot or mild
- ⅓ lb bacon
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion
- 3 cloves garlic pressed
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Let bread crumbs soak in milk for a few minutes until milk is absorbed.
- Cut bacon into small, half inch pieces.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with hands until well combined.
- With hands, form meat into balls 1.5-2 inches in diameter. This should produce anywhere from 15-25 balls depending on how big you want them.
- Using a dutch oven or pan, sear the meatballs on top and bottom before placing on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Place sheet into preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for five minutes.
- Place meatballs in tomato sauce or gravy or enjoy on their own.
